Chosen Valley Care Center volunteers have been an important part of our resident’s lives since 1976. Volunteers have donated countless hours, in so many ways to enhance resident’s quality of life and help make our organization who we are today.
We have learned that everyone has talent to give, and tapping into people’s knowledge and skills creates a more meaningful experience for the volunteer and those residents he or she serves. Friendly visiting, singing/music, sewing, games, gardening, baking, crafts and friendly pet visiting are just a few ways which volunteers may provide assistance.
Building security is provided through a locked front door. An intercom system in each apartment allows communication with visitors and the front door may then be unlocked from within the apartment.
So, no matter what the talent or gift you have to share, we are interested in hearing from you.
